White Jade Belt Buckle

白玉腰帶扣

Combined length of two parts when closed: 13cm, 5.12 inches

扣帶合起長:13釐米

The buckle comprises two parts, one with a dragon head hook and the other with an oblong aperture. The hook fits into the aperture and both parts are carved with a chilong carrying a lingzhi sprig in its mouth. The reverse of each part has a circular button for attachment issuing from a plain hollow dome. The semi-translucent stone is of an even white tone.
